There are several ways Albertans can receive coverage for eye care:

1. Alberta Health Care

All Alberta residents receive basic coverage through Alberta Health Care. Depending on your age, this includes complete eye exams, urgent eye care, and medically necessary services.

2. Employer Insurance Coverage

- Alberta Health Care covers one complete eye exam per year

I have been taking my daughter to Easy Blink for eye therapy for a while, and we can see positive progress. Dr. Chaudhary and Dr. West make the therapy fun. My daughter doesn't feel very bad about her eye conditions anymore. They also invite me to observe the training, so I know how to help her at home. We have a great hope that soon she will gain strength to control her eyes for life ahead of her.

Great location, good pricing, friendly staff! Dr. Chaudhary is great at what he does and has always been more than helpful with answering questions and providing solutions and great alternatives. Shannen went above and beyond with her suggestions for the best suited frames for my prescription, both in regular and safety glasses, as well as the additional lens options to best suit me and my lifestyle.

I’ve briefly known Dr. Sabih before becoming a patient from my sister in law and she referred me to his new practice. I needed new contacts last year and was in denial of new prescription but having him being so close to home actually made me go get a whole exam done. I was also able to take a couple contact trials home to see which lenses I liked the best and I haven’t had that before. The rest of the staff is also really great and super helpful! Colleen helped adjust my glasses and figure out which frames to get when I got new prescription and she helped adjust my sunglasses super quick! I also have to say the interior is really well done and doesn’t look like a clinic or every other optometry office out there!

I saw Dr. Chaudhary when he worked at Iris and he was literally the only optometrist out of 5 that was able to correctly diagnose what was going on. He finally put me on the proper path the fix what was wrong with me. I was just recommending him to a friend and noticed he switched workplaces. Best of luck and thank you again!

Dr. Chaudhary is awesome and takes care of all his patients both old and young in a caring and considerate manner. Our whole family “sees” Dr. Chaudhary regularity and our boys have been seeing him since they were 6 months old. Dr. Chaudry is amazing! I was referred to him by a friend whose young daughter had a great experience there when I realized that my son needed some help with his eyes. He’s since been diagnosed with extreme myopia and Dr Chaudry was instrumental in getting treatment started right away and finding us a specialist as fast as possible. All three of my kids ages 10, 8, and 6 enjoy going to appointments with him and his team. Also, love the new offices!

We visited Easy Optometry with our young daughter looking for the Nano brand of glasses made for kids. As soon as we walked in, Stacey was warm and welcoming! She took the time to help us find the specific pair we were looking for and then looked up additional colours online. She was very sweet with our daughter and took the time to make her comfortable, bending down to her level and letting her know what she was doing during the sizing. We left with stickers, a coloring book and a very happy 2 year old. I am very appreciative we found Easy Optometry and we will definitely be back when it is time for a new pair of glasses! ☺️

I had a great experience at Easy Optometry after being referred to them for eye therapy. Colleen the optician immediately saw that my progressives were not sitting properly on my face and fixed them so I could see better within minutes. Dr. West listened carefully to my symptoms and conducted several tests to give me a diagnosis and a treatment plan that both helped me see better right away and treat the issue in the long term. Both were professional and compassionate and clearly very good at their jobs. I am extremely grateful I was referred to them.

Fantastic office! My whole family had eye exams and i was really impressed with all the staff. Dr West was very thorough, knowledgeable, and excellent with both our kids. Once your exam is complete they have incredible opticians to assist in selecting, fitting, and ordering new glasses. After years of cheap online roulette frames, i feel confident with my new look knowing the glasses are tailored to my needs. I’d recommend this office to everyone, thank you Dr West and team!

I like this place. The food court has pretty decent food. There are a bunch of places to study. The staff does a good job at maintaining and keeping the building clean. The campus is quite nice and has a bunch of activities near by.
