About Dr. Connor West
Dr. Connor West was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. During his undergraduate years, he played post-secondary volleyball in Windsor, Ontario while studying Accounting. After the 3 years competing in Ontario, he moved back to Alberta and finished a Biochemistry Degree with a minor in Economics from the University of Lethbridge. He continued on to complete his Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Waterloo.
Background
While at Waterloo, Dr. West completed externships in rural Saskatchewan and at a pediatrics/vision therapy clinic in central Alberta. He has special interest in pediatrics, contact lenses, refractive surgery co-management, and sports vision. He served as Sports Vision Club President for 2 years while at the University of Waterloo.
Personal
While out of clinic, Dr. West enjoys watching and playing sports, anything from hockey to volleyball to disc golf. He and his wife love camping, hiking, movie night with the cats, and exploring local food and drink.

About Dr. Effie Sen
Dr. Effie Sen earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo and has over 25 years of experience providing comprehensive eye care in Alberta and Southern California. She is committed to delivering thoughtful, patient-centred care and enjoys educating patients so they can make informed decisions about their vision and eye health.
Her Clinical Interests Include:
• Post-concussion care, using individualized treatment approaches for patients experiencing persistent symptoms following concussion
• Dry eye disease, with treatment options ranging from home therapies and nutritional supplements to advanced in-office procedures such as radiofrequency (RF), intense pulsed light (IPL), and professional eyelid cleaning
• Myopia management, offering personalized strategies designed to help slow the progression of nearsightedness
Dr. Sen also provides comprehensive medical eye care, including the assessment and monitoring of ocular diseases, urgent eye care, and co-management for cataract and refractive surgery patients.

Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Sen regularly pursues continuing education to expand the treatment options she can offer her patients. She welcomes patients of all ages and looks forward to providing compassionate, individualized care throughout every stage of life.
